Skills and Background We Value:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent program completion
- Current California SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working with students in K-12 schools is highly desired
- Ability to develop and implement customized therapy plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students
- Flexibility and problem-solving abilities in a diverse school setting
- Proficiency with IEP documentation and progress reporting
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students’ speech and language challenges
- Design individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ educational goals
- Deliver direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
- Contribute to student IEP meetings, providing expertise and progress updates
- Maintain comprehensive records and required documentation
