Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Fremont, CA

Make a meaningful impact within elementary schools as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity focuses on providing essential support across two engaging school environments—one that emphasizes mid-to-moderate needs and another serving general education and preschool students. Your expertise will help address increasing caseloads, ensuring that every student receives the attention and guidance they deserve.

This position is entirely in-person and begins as soon as possible, with the assignment continuing until the district appoints a permanent hire. You’ll split your time between two elementary campuses, working at one site each day, offering flexibility and variety in your week.

Key Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Prior experience working in school settings and with pediatric populations, especially elementary-aged children
• Strong assessment skills and comfort with a mixed caseload, including mid/mod needs and general education
• In-person availability; no virtual assignments
• Licensure preferred, though not required by the district
• Flexibility to rotate locations daily

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative SLP services to meet students’ diverse needs
• Conduct speech/language assessments to support overloaded caseloads
• Collaborate with on-site staff and existing SLPs without being the primary SLP at any location
• Document progress and maintain accurate records per school policies
• Rotate daily between two supportive elementary school communities

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position, offering approximately 30–35 hours per week within regular school hours (8 a.m.–3 p.m.).
