Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; will consider strong Clinical Fellows
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings strongly desired
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, interventions, and progress reports
- Consult with staff on classroom accommodations and strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
