Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility for state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates welcome
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting children with a range of communication and language needs
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver speech and language therapy individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom strategies
