Grades K - 5 Speech Pathology - Fremont, CA

Make an impact supporting students in grades K-5 by providing speech-language therapy services on a contract basis. This exciting opportunity welcomes a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who is ready to collaborate in a dynamic school-based setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
• Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Previous experience working with elementary school-aged children is highly valued
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individual and group treatment plans
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based therapy to K-5 students, addressing a range of speech and language needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations to support student progress
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each student’s needs
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation for IEPs and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, teacher consultations, and parent conferences as needed
• Provide strategies and resources for classroom teachers to support student success
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment that encourages positive communication outcomes
