Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
• Experience providing speech and language services to children, preferably in a school setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and fellow staff
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Organizational skills for managing caseload and required documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with educators and families
• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students in kindergarten through fifth grade
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and required reports
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and special education teams to support students’ success in the classroom
• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology
