Make an impact supporting students in grades K-5 by providing speech-language therapy services on a contract basis. This exciting opportunity welcomes a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who is ready to collaborate in a dynamic school-based setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working with elementary school-aged children is highly valued
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individual and group treatment plans
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to K-5 students, addressing a range of speech and language needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations to support student progress
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation for IEPs and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, teacher consultations, and parent conferences as needed
- Provide strategies and resources for classroom teachers to support student success
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment that encourages positive communication outcomes
