Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current and valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working with children in elementary school settings is highly valued
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for students with diverse communication needs
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for speech-language services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date records in compliance with state and district regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and teachers to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress to parents/guardians and staff
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
