Key qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current California SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; CFYs considered
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Compassion and dedication to supporting students’ speech and language growth
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings
- Participate in professional development to stay current with evidence-based practices
