Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure or eligible for licensure in Nebraska
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Solid organizational abilities for managing caseloads and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for students with communication, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and timely records as required by school policies and state regulations
  • Offer guidance and support to classroom staff and families to promote carryover of strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise as a communication specialist
