Step into a rewarding role serving elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at a school in the Mansfield city area, near Fremont, OH. This contract opportunity runs from August 17 through June 3, providing a stable and enriching environment for the 2024-2025 school year. Two openings are available for dedicated SLP professionals seeking a fulfilling assignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or be eligible for it
- Valid state licensure to practice in educational settings (or the ability to obtain)
- Experience with elementary school SLP caseloads preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, educators, and families
- Passion for supporting students’ speech, language, and communication needs within a school-based environment
In This Role, You Will:
- Evaluate and provide direct speech-language therapy for elementary students in accordance with IEP requirements
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy into students’ educational programs
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for compliance and ongoing support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary teams
- Enjoy a set weekly schedule: 7:30 am - 2:50 pm or 8:20 am - 3:50 pm at a single location each day, totaling 37.5 hours per week
