This full-time, onsite contract role is ideal for passionate, qualified SLPs seeking a rewarding challenge in an educational environment with robust support and a collaborative team.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California license and CCC credential required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in California schools
- At least 1 year of SEIS experience essential
- Familiarity with supervising SLPAs and working alongside facilitators highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to manage high caseloads and swiftly respond to increasing referrals
- Willingness to accept Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Bilingual proficiency highly desirable
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of 60-65 students, including 25-30 speech-only cases
- Supervise SLPAs with facilitator support as needed
- Accurately complete documentation and progress reports using SEIS
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support individual student needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and help develop individualized goals
- Prioritize effective communication and cultural responsiveness, especially in bilingual contexts
