Key Qualifications:

  • Holds an active Texas SLP license
  • Preferred: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based environment, particularly with middle school-aged students
  • Expertise in conducting speech/language evaluations, developing IEP goals, and maintaining thorough documentation
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to middle school students
  • Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop, document, and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
  • Work closely with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support the success of each student
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of all services provided
