Exciting contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support senior high school students for the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time SLP position centers around providing essential speech and language services to 11th and 12th-grade students in a dynamic school environment near Frisco, TX. The caseload includes approximately 40 students, with a focus on direct intervention, evaluations, and collaborative support as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications:
- Current, active Texas SLP License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a high school or similar educational setting highly valued
- Expertise in evaluating students, managing IEPs, and providing evidence-based therapy
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 students
- Create and monitor IEP goals in partnership with students, families, and educators
- Work closely with special education staff, general education teachers, and administrators
- Document progress and provide suggestions for classroom supports as needed
- Offer professional guidance and resources to families and school teams
The position is onsite with a consistent, full-time schedule throughout the school year: August 4, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Candidates should have reliable transportation and be ready to collaborate in a thriving educational environment.
