Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Solid foundation in school-based settings, ideally working with early childhood students
  • Proficiency conducting speech and language evaluations and supporting the development and delivery of IEPs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, administrators, and families
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to documentation detail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to early childhood students in a school environment
  • Conduct individualized assessments and evaluations to determine students’ communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals with an emphasis on collaborative, student-centered planning

  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation according to school and state requirements
