Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students in the Lewisville/The Colony area as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This role spans the 2026-2027 academic year, where your expertise will positively impact young learners in a supportive, onsite environment. Ideal for those passionate about helping students achieve communication and academic success, the assignment includes serving a diverse caseload and collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals. Exact grade levels and specific caseloads will be determined closer to the start date.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current, active Texas SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in school settings highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students, families, and school staff
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and school needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance with IDEA/504 regulations
- Offer support and education to teachers, staff, and families to foster student development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
This is a single onsite position—teletherapy is not available at this time. You’ll work full-time hours within a collaborative, school-based environment dedicated to student growth and achievement.
