School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Front Royal, Virginia

Key Qualifications:

• Current Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license (VA SLP License) required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience delivering speech and language therapy services within a school environment
• Skilled in assessment, individualized treatment planning, and documentation for diverse student populations
• Strong communication and organizational abilities, with a collaborative approach to working in educational teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify areas of need and recommend appropriate interventions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on functional communication and academic success
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain detailed therapy documentation and progress reports in compliance with district standards
• Present professional guidance and resources to staff and parents regarding speech-language development
• Foster a positive and productive learning environment for all students

This position is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 28, 2027. All therapy services will be provided onsite, ensuring hands-on support and engagement with students and staff.
