School Speech Language Pathologist - Front Royal, Virginia

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure in the state
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Prior experience working in school settings highly valued
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to organize caseload and documentation efficiently
• Compassionate, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students as indicated in their IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Monitor and document progress towards communication goals
• Offer guidance and resources to general education staff regarding strategies for supporting students with speech/language needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and input on student services
• Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal requirements
