Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in Maine
- Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptable, with a commitment to inclusive, student-focused practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Provide direct therapy services for articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Contribute to IEP processes, accompanying evaluations and progress reports
- Document sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer support and recommendations to staff and families regarding speech/language development
