Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and credentials for practice in schools
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Background in pediatric speech-language therapy
  • Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations, ideally both
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • A compassionate and collaborative approach to working with students, educators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, diagnostics, and individualized therapy to students identified with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP
  • Work closely with educators and support staff to promote students’ academic and social success
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in parent meetings, team consultations, and IEP meetings as needed
  • Adapt therapeutic strategies to address the diverse needs of students throughout the school
