Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and credentials for practice in schools
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Background in pediatric speech-language therapy
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations, ideally both
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- A compassionate and collaborative approach to working with students, educators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnostics, and individualized therapy to students identified with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP
- Work closely with educators and support staff to promote students’ academic and social success
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in parent meetings, team consultations, and IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt therapeutic strategies to address the diverse needs of students throughout the school
