Step into a dynamic contract role serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York’s Onondaga region. You’ll collaborate with educational teams and families to help students achieve meaningful progress across diverse settings, including both the North and South sides of Onondaga. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates welcome
- Eligible for NY State SLP licensure or certification
- Background in pediatric therapy; experience in schools strongly desired
- Teletherapy experience considered a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver effective therapy for a diverse caseload of students
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Utilize teletherapy tools when appropriate for remote student support
- Communicate regularly with families and staff on student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention planning
