Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Alabama SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, staff, and families
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Efficient at maintaining records and reporting progress

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
• Deliver targeted therapy sessions—individually or in groups—fostering progress and participation
• Consult regularly with teachers, special educators, and families to support student achievement
• Monitor, document, and communicate student progress, making adjustments to programs as necessary
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
