Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology in Alabama
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings highly preferred
  • Comfort providing both onsite and teletherapy services
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and equity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy individually and in groups
  • Regularly consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
  • Flexibly provide services both onsite and through teletherapy platforms as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
