This onsite contract opportunity is designed for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to expand their expertise in a supportive environment focused on empowering students with a range of developmental and medical challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, and Rett Syndrome.
You’ll collaborate closely with experts across fields—physical therapy, occupational therapy, vision impairment specialists, and behavior analysts—while being part of a team of seven experienced SLPs. The 3:1 service model ensures manageable workload and maximum impact. This role is perfect for clinicians passionate about individualized, multimodal communication including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). No case management, no travel, and most importantly, no additional school duties—just focused clinical work with an inspiring population.
What you bring:
- Valid SLP license and South Carolina Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or strong interest in working in school-based settings
- Eagerness to collaborate with a dynamic multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to support students with complex communication and developmental needs
- AAC experience is helpful, but not required—mentorship and training provided for those eager to learn
