Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in South Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship (CFY)
- Prior experience working in school environments, particularly in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong evaluation, diagnostics, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication abilities when working with teachers, administrators, students, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans based on each student's IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and special education staff to monitor progress and support classroom success
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions to address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
- Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and required documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the school’s intervention team
