Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Active Georgia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and contribute within a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, screenings, and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing records as required
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and district trainings
- Engage with families and teachers to support communication goals and overall academic success
