Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license valid in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to independently organize and manage a caseload

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and legal guidelines
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings
  • Offer resources and strategies to staff and families to foster communication goals
