Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state SLP licensure and appropriate credentialing for school-based practice
- Knowledge of common school-based communication disorders and effective intervention strategies
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, but strong clinical skills with readiness to transition into educational work will be considered
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with comfort navigating IEP requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver targeted therapy to students individually or in group settings
