Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to an engaging elementary school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract opportunity offers 35 hours per week for a dedicated SLP seeking to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners. Both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in progress of completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience (including clinical placements) in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Passionate about supporting elementary-aged students in language, speech, and communication development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific goals
- Provide direct therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and pragmatic skills
- Collaborate regularly with special education and classroom teachers to support student progress in the school environment
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to ongoing IEP meetings and progress reports
- Offer support and educate families to carry over strategies for student success at home
