Contribute to a positive learning atmosphere by providing compassionate support to students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. In this contract role near Garland, TX, you'll work closely with students, families, and school staff to assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for communication challenges—empowering students to succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold a current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology or be eligible for licensure in Texas
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Skilled in pediatric, healthcare, and school-based SLP practice areas
- Experience with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Effective communicator and team player
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and generate treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver evidence-based therapy, both individually and in groups, through in-person or telepractice formats
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ development
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state reporting requirements
- Assist in IEP development and attend meetings as needed
