Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
  • Previous experience in a school setting, especially with elementary students, preferred
  • Strong skills in conducting student evaluations, developing and implementing IEP goals, and delivering speech-language services
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work a 40-hour workweek onsite (no part-time options)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations for a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students
  • Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
  • Collaborate closely with special education teams, classroom teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Develop and monitor IEP goals, ensuring compliance and tailored support for each student
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation for all services rendered
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to ongoing student progress reviews
