This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to partner with caring educators and families, supporting approximately 50 students who benefit from speech and language services. You’ll facilitate growth and learning in a collaborative setting dedicated to student success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license is required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting and with middle school-aged students is desired
- Articulate communicator with excellent organization and documentation abilities
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals, provide both direct and indirect speech-language therapy, and conduct thorough evaluations
- Strong team player, comfortable collaborating with fellow therapists, teachers, administrators, and parents
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as a valuable onsite resource, delivering direct speech and language therapy to students
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and craft individualized IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Partner with school staff and families to enhance student outcomes
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide staff training as needed
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 middle school students
