This contract position offers the chance to provide essential support to 11th and 12th grade students, ensuring their communication needs are met as they prepare for the next stages of their journey. The role is set for the 2026–2027 school year with a full-time, onsite schedule in a supportive school environment.

Preferred candidates will bring a wealth of experience in the school setting, particularly at the high school level, as well as strength in collaborative and individualized care for a caseload of approximately 40 students. A Texas SLP license is required, while holding the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly valued.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLP license (required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous experience with high school-aged students and school-based services
  • Proficient at conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and maintaining documentation
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities with staff, families, and students
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and direct therapy services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to student needs
  • Offer consultative and support services to teachers, families, and special education teams
  • Document progress and maintain accurate service records
  • Collaborate proactively with school professionals and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
