Desired Skills & Experience
- Active Texas SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in school-based settings; early childhood experience highly valued
- Skilled in performing speech and language evaluations, setting IEP goals, and delivering both direct and indirect therapy
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with special education teams, classroom staff, administrators, and families
- Excellent organization and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language assessments, therapy sessions, and IEP development/support within an elementary setting
- Work closely with staff and families to promote student progress and advocate for student needs
- Develop and implement individualized strategies for speech and language intervention
- Keep thorough records of student progress to inform instructional planning and IEP meetings
- Remain onsite during school hours, adhering to a 40-hour full-time schedule
