A contract opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). This position offers the flexibility of full-time (40 hours) or part-time schedules and spans the upcoming school year, running from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027. Located near Garland, TX, this role will allow you to make a significant impact in the academic and personal development of your students.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Valid CCC-SLP certification
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
  • Ability to handle evaluations, re-evaluations, IEP meetings, and act as a Case Manager
  • Skill in supervising and supporting SLPAs—experience with monolingual and bilingual assistants is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering student success and supporting educational goals

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Participate in and lead IEP meetings as a Case Manager
  • Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with two SLPAs (one monolingual, one bilingual)
  • Deliver direct and consultative services to students based on their unique needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by district and state policies
