This part-time contract role offers a unique opportunity to work 25 hours each week, beginning August 3, 2026, and concluding May 21, 2027. You’ll play a vital role in helping students develop essential communication skills while enjoying a structured schedule and meaningful work.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active SLP license in Texas
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
  • CCC-SLP credential or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience delivering services in a school setting, preferably with K-8 students
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality direct and indirect speech-language therapy to K-8 students, targeting speech, language, and communication goals
  • Conduct speech/language screenings and comprehensive evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
  • Maintain thorough documentation and accurate progress reports in line with district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
  • Offer culturally and linguistically responsive services tailored to students’ diverse backgrounds
  • Focus solely on contracted duties—no additional responsibilities such as bus or parent pickup duty
