Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Active or eligible for SLP licensure
- CCC-SLP, CFY, or strong background in school-based speech therapy
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with K-12 students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of IEP development and compliance
- Creative, student-centered approach to intervention
- Open to new graduates eager to start their school-based career
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess speech and language abilities across a varied caseload
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs
- Provide direct therapy, track progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student success
- Maintain required records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Promote communication skill development through evidence-based practices
- Work on-site as a vital resource to the school community
