Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities, with attention to documentation and progress tracking
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups, that support educational progress
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for each student’s communication needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Stay current on best practices and professional development in the field of speech-language pathology
