School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Garrison, Minnesota

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility to obtain
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities, with attention to documentation and progress tracking

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups, that support educational progress
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to maximize student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for each student’s communication needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Stay current on best practices and professional development in the field of speech-language pathology
