School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Garrisonville, Virginia

Step into an impactful role supporting students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in an educational environment. This contract position is available immediately, continuing through May 29, 2026. You’ll work approximately 10-15 hours per week, offering critical services that foster communication development in school-aged children. Earn between $46 and $58 per hour while making a significant difference in students’ lives and collaborating with caring professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience providing therapy within a school setting is highly valued
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing caseload and time across varying needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise on language development and intervention strategies
• Adapt services and interventions as needed for diverse learner populations
