Exciting contract opportunities await experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) looking to make a difference in the lives of elementary and middle school students. Two onsite-only roles are available for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 12, 2026, and concluding May 26, 2027. Each position offers 37.5 hours per week on a dynamic school campus near Gary, IN.

As an SLP in this setting, you’ll manage a caseload of 45-55 students, engaging with students who need speech and language support to enhance their academic success. One SLP will support both an elementary and a middle school building, while the other will focus on two middle school campuses.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and state SLP license for school-based practice
  • Previous experience in a school environment (elementary and/or middle school preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of IEP process and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver targeted therapy
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Document progress and participate in case conferences and IEP meetings
  • Provide advocacy and support for students’ communication needs in the classroom
