Step into an essential role supporting students' communication skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist covering a maternity leave for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position gives you the opportunity to work across two conveniently located schools—Liberty Elementary and Liberty Intermediate/Middle—serving students from kindergarten through eighth grade.

Your caseload will consist of around 90 diverse and engaging students, providing vital speech and language services for a highly supportive school community. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through the first week of November 2026, ensuring continuity of care during this important period.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Indiana
  • Prior experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Experience servicing K–8 population is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions in individual and small group settings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress reports for each student
  • Monitor student progress to ensure goals are being met and adjust plans as necessary
