Advance your career by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) during a critical period of need. This contract opportunity runs from August 10th through the end of October, covering an FMLA leave for the first 12 weeks of the school year. You’ll step into a dynamic environment, working across two elementary school sites and managing a caseload of approximately 117 students, with assistance from a skilled Speech-Language Assistant (SLA). Flexibility is key—the team welcomes both in-person and VOCO (virtual) candidates ready to make an immediate impact.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid speech-language license for Indiana
  • Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills for managing a large caseload
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Comfortable working with or overseeing an SLA
  • Experience or proficiency with virtual service delivery (if applying for VOCO)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services for elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
  • Supervise and coordinate activities with an assigned Speech-Language Assistant
  • Conduct evaluations, maintain documentation, and participate in meetings as needed
  • Adapt therapy to meet in-person and virtual needs, ensuring consistency of care
