Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active or eligible Indiana SLP license
  • Experience or strong interest in working within K-12 educational environments
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to address varying student needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students across K-12th grades
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations to determine service needs
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results to families and staff
  • Engage in consultation with teachers, support staff, and parents to foster student success
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay current with best practices in school-based SLP services
