Speech Language Pathologist in Gary, IN

Situated within reach of Gary, IN, this full-time role runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
• Experience with K-12 populations in educational settings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
• Familiarity with IEP development and progress documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students across grade levels, adapting strategies for individual and group needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility for services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s educational goals
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and adhere to all state and district documentation guidelines
• Offer consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding speech and language interventions
