Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- School-based experience is a plus, but strong clinical skills and a passion for working with children will set you up for success
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students individually and in groups
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for coordinated support
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input and advocacy for student growth
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with all applicable guidelines
