This full-time contract position seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to work within a vibrant school environment near Gary, IN. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates will also be considered
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assessment and therapy to students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services and results
  • Collaborate with teachers and families to support students’ strategies for communication
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and consultation
  • Offer resources and recommendations to enhance students’ learning environments
