Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and related service teams
- Proficient in assessment, intervention planning, and documentation processes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions in individual and small-group formats
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress and promote generalization of skills
- Maintain timely and accurate records, progress reports, and correspondence
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
