Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP licensure in New York State
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience with school-age students, especially at the middle and high school levels, is preferred
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of middle and high school students
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop targeted, student-centered intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support each student’s IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Provide consultative and push-in/pull-out services within the school day
  • Adapt approaches to meet a variety of student needs in an inclusive school setting

Role Details:

  • Part-time: 3 days per week, totaling 21 hours (some scheduling flexibility—details to be discussed during the interview process)
  • Academic year contract: September 8, 2026 – June 24, 2027
  • All services provided within a single school building
