Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP licensure in New York State
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience with school-age students, especially at the middle and high school levels, is preferred
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of middle and high school students
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop targeted, student-centered intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support each student’s IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide consultative and push-in/pull-out services within the school day
- Adapt approaches to meet a variety of student needs in an inclusive school setting
Role Details:
- Part-time: 3 days per week, totaling 21 hours (some scheduling flexibility—details to be discussed during the interview process)
- Academic year contract: September 8, 2026 – June 24, 2027
- All services provided within a single school building
