Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
• Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong collaborative, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set measurable, attainable goals
• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each child’s unique needs
• Maintain timely documentation and progress reports, adhering to district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to multidisciplinary teams
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that encourage student participation and success
