This contract assignment is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about fostering communication skills among young learners throughout the entire 2026-2027 school year. Take on a dynamic caseload where your interventions make a visible difference. This position is ideal for an SLP with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), but SLPA applications are welcome, and strong Clinical Fellows with a background in schools will also be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • CCC-SLP preferred; open to SLPAs and Clinical Fellows with relevant school-based experience
  • Experience working with school-age children (K-6) is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing caseload

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver individualized therapy services to elementary students
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with other school professionals
  • Provide collaboration and consultation with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports as required by school and state guidelines
  • Support students’ communication needs, targeting speech, language, and social-pragmatic skills
