Take on a dynamic caseload where your interventions make a visible difference. This position is ideal for an SLP with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), but SLPA applications are welcome, and strong Clinical Fellows with a background in schools will also be considered.
Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- CCC-SLP preferred; open to SLPAs and Clinical Fellows with relevant school-based experience
- Experience working with school-age children (K-6) is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing caseload
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver individualized therapy services to elementary students
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with other school professionals
- Provide collaboration and consultation with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports as required by school and state guidelines
- Support students’ communication needs, targeting speech, language, and social-pragmatic skills
