Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active and valid Delaware SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification is highly preferred
- Experience working with K-6th grade student populations in an educational setting
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes, special education services, and evidence-based therapy approaches
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to elementary students in individual and group settings
- Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility determinations, progress monitoring, and reevaluations
- Complete all required documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, and parent communications
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support personnel to facilitate student success
- Attend and contribute to meetings regarding student progress, needs, and programming
- Remain current with best practices and comply with state and district policies
