This contract opportunity, located near Georgetown, DE, allows you to provide essential direct services while dedicating time for meetings and testing. Enjoy a balanced schedule of two full days focused on direct services and a half day reserved for collaborative activities and assessments each week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active and valid Delaware SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification is highly preferred
  • Experience working with K-6th grade student populations in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, special education services, and evidence-based therapy approaches

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to elementary students in individual and group settings
  • Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility determinations, progress monitoring, and reevaluations
  • Complete all required documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, and parent communications
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support personnel to facilitate student success
  • Attend and contribute to meetings regarding student progress, needs, and programming
  • Remain current with best practices and comply with state and district policies
