Key skills and backgrounds that will help you thrive in this role:

  • Active Pennsylvania SLP License (or eligibility)—CFYs and experienced SLPs welcome
  • CCC-SLP highly valued; SLPA or clinical fellows may be considered
  • Background in pediatrics, early childhood, or school-based settings
  • Strong communication, documentation, and time management abilities
  • Experience or confidence supporting children with diverse special needs
  • Enthusiastic about collaborating with general and special educators and families
  • Committed to evidence-based intervention and student-centered care

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering speech-language therapy to children ages 3-5 in Early Intervention programming
  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and documenting speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement and monitor IEP goals
  • Providing clear, detailed communication and support to families and caretakers
  • Engaging in professional development and staying current on best practices
  • Enjoying dedicated weekly paperwork/administrative time, minimizing after-hours work
