Two full-time speech-language pathologist roles are available, each providing specialized services across two school sites in a vibrant educational setting near Gig Harbor, WA. This in-person opportunity allows you to shape students’ growth in a collaborative environment, working closely with dedicated educators and families.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Washington state SLP license
- ESA certification
- Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI
- Experience supporting diverse K-12 caseloads appreciated
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organization skills
- Commitment to in-person, site-based services
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students at the elementary level
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student success
- Provide direct therapy, document progress, and offer consultation as needed
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and district educational guidelines
- Manage a caseload typically ranging from 48-60 students
