Step into an impactful, contract-based opportunity supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Experienced Speech-Language Pathologists are in high demand to provide in-person services across several school sites. This rewarding role offers five openings: four are full-time (37.5 hours per week), while one is a .7 position, both allowing you to cultivate strong relationships with students and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Washington SLP License and ESA certification (Educational Staff Associate)
- Previous K-12 school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI before assignment, with licensure documentation required during application
- Commitment to delivering therapy, assessment, and support services face-to-face
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students presenting with articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
- Manage a caseload ranging from 48 to 60 students, serving diverse K-12 populations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create and deliver Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and monitor student progress to ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide consultation and in-service training for school staff as needed
- Advocate for best practices and inclusive communication strategies across educational settings
