Step into an impactful contract position supporting elementary students’ communication needs for the 2026-2027 school year. Two full-time speech-language pathologist roles are available, each providing specialized services across two school sites in a vibrant educational setting near Gig Harbor, WA. This in-person opportunity allows you to shape students’ growth in a collaborative environment, working closely with dedicated educators and families.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid Washington state SLP license
  • ESA certification
  • Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI
  • Experience supporting diverse K-12 caseloads appreciated
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organization skills
  • Commitment to in-person, site-based services

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students at the elementary level
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student success
  • Provide direct therapy, document progress, and offer consultation as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and district educational guidelines
  • Manage a caseload typically ranging from 48-60 students
