Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active ASHA certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Current licensure (or ability to obtain) for practice in Washington State
  • Experience working in school-based and/or pediatric settings preferred
  • Proficient in assessment, intervention, and collaboration for diverse communication needs
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students of varying ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with school district and state guidelines
  • Provide direct therapy to students individually and in groups, targeting speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate records, notes, and documentation as required
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff training, and relevant school functions
