Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active ASHA certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Current licensure (or ability to obtain) for practice in Washington State
- Experience working in school-based and/or pediatric settings preferred
- Proficient in assessment, intervention, and collaboration for diverse communication needs
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students of varying ages and abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with school district and state guidelines
- Provide direct therapy to students individually and in groups, targeting speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate records, notes, and documentation as required
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff training, and relevant school functions
