Speech Language Pathologist in Gig Harbor, WA

Empower students to succeed by providing essential speech-language services in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, on-site contract position offers the opportunity to support learners across K-12 settings with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
• Active Washington State SLP licensure (must be maintained throughout assignment)
• Previous experience in school-based speech therapy is preferred
• Comfortable working in-person; this role will not consider virtual/remote service delivery
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-12 students with diverse needs
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and regularly evaluate student progress
• Collaborate with general and special education staff to support student success
• Contribute to IEP development and attend meetings with staff and families
• Provide consultation and resources for parents and educational teams
• Document all services and progress per district procedures and legal requirements
