Empower students to succeed by providing essential speech-language services in a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, on-site contract position offers the opportunity to support learners across K-12 settings with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Active Washington State SLP licensure (must be maintained throughout assignment)
- Previous experience in school-based speech therapy is preferred
- Comfortable working in-person; this role will not consider virtual/remote service delivery
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-12 students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and regularly evaluate student progress
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to support student success
- Contribute to IEP development and attend meetings with staff and families
- Provide consultation and resources for parents and educational teams
- Document all services and progress per district procedures and legal requirements
