Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathology licensure (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are welcome
- Familiarity with pediatric, school-based, and healthcare-related SLP services
- Strong interpersonal and organization skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
Role Expectations:
- Provide assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and track progress
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings; contribute to documentation and compliance
- Deliver both group and individual therapy, adapting to each student’s unique needs
- Serve as a valued resource for school staff and parents, offering guidance on best practices in communication development
